The St Agnes Stroll Social
A good few CAMRA Kernow members, friends and dogs joined the 2nd of the Saturday Strolls around St Agnes. Starting at the Railway Inn where there a good few beers in great shape, including the fantastic Timothy Taylor Landlord. After admiring some of the shoe adorned walls, we were off to the St Agnes Hotel.
A St Austell pubs, included in the Small Batch Brewery club. A blinding pint of the latest Small Batch Brew, Bloodline was enjoyed by all, except the cider drinkers!
A brisk walk down the hill and we arrived at the re-named Bear Bar (Previously the Peterville Inn). The house brew produced by Laines Brewery of Brighton wasn't to everyone's taste, unlike Sharp's Sea Fury which hit the spot perfectly.
Final destination was the fantastic Ale and Sausage Festival at the St Agnes hotel where we were joined by head Brewer Pete Martin and the CAMRA Kernow members who has made a beeline for the Beer Festival.
A good day had by all, cheers and good health to all. It was great to see everyone, including new comers to the Saturday Strolls from both Liskeard and Newquay....we hope to see you again.
