BECOME A FESTIVAL BEER WEEK HOST
Falmouth Beer Festival & Falmouth Beer Week A Celebration of Real Ale, Cider, Craft Beer, Craft Spirits, Street Food and Local Talent. Falmouth Beer Festival returns in 2019 with a week of Events showcasing the delights of Cornish Brewing and local hospitality. Last year’s relocation of the Falmouth Beer Festival to Event Square’s Waterfront has enabled the Beer Festival to become part of Falmouth Town. We would like to further integrate with the heart of Falmouth Town Centre with a host of events all over town. We would love you to be involved with the event by becoming part of Falmouth Beer Week. The aim is to offer a wealth of diverse activities to Showcase Falmouth, enticing visitor’s to spend a week in town, under the banner of a Celebration of Real Ale, Cider, Craft Beer, Craft Spirits, Street Food and Local Talent. The Falmouth Beer Festival attracts over 5,500 attendees and we believe the Beer Week could welcome even more visitors.
How can you get involved?
• Could you offer a menu designed to be accompanied by local beers or ciders?
• Could you host a food and cider tasting or pairing session?
• How about a tap takeover, inviting a brewery to showcase their beers at your Bar?
• Maybe a pop-up ale bar, cider bar or street food to complement your usual offering?
• Are you a local brewery or cider Farm that could offer brewery visits from Falmouth?
• Are you a hotel or B&B that is pre-pared to offer discounted rates for Beer Week?
• Which bands or music events do you have planned for that week?
• Maybe offer to host pub walk or historic town walk?
What we will do is look to support any ideas above, where needed, with our experience of hosting these kinds of events in the past. We will coordinate the advertising and events listings for the week and look to seek national sponsorship and advertising to promote the weeks’ worth of activities. The Falmouth Beer Week will commence on Saturday 28th September and conclude with the Falmouth Beer Festival is scheduled on the 3rd, 4th and 5th October 2019.
The Beer Week will only be possible with your pledge of support. Please do let us know your thoughts and ideas.
