Bishop & WolfHugh St
Named after the two local lighthouses and with a unique pub sign (compare the sides!), this lively pub is adorned with much of the marine décor commonplace on the islands, including old photos of local shipwrecks and former lifeboats on the walls of its large bar and pool room. Tastefully refurbished during 2012, the main bar room has a raised seating area in the front window, where you can watch the world go by. The upstairs split-level room has its own bar, and functions as a sports bar in winter with TV, pool table and darts; in summer months it becomes a restaurant (open evenings 18:00-21:00). Children are welcome. There is occasional live evening entertainment, with folk night on Thursdays.
