Bishop & WolfHugh St
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Named after the two local lighthouses and with a unique pub sign (compare the sides!), this lively pub is right in the centre of town where the main road divides. Tastefully refurbished during 2012, the main bar room has a raised seating area in the front window, where you can watch the world go by; a few pictures of maritime scenes adorn the walls. The upstairs split-level room has its own bar, and functions as a sports bar in winter with TV, pool table and darts; in summer months it becomes a restaurant (open evenings 18:00-21:00). Children are welcome. There is occasional live evening entertainment.
