See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
This large, open-plan pub on the old main road west out of Saltash still has beamed ceilings and a slate floor near the bar; it is carpeted throughout. Its dominant market is food-orientated, evidenced by the tables and chairs mostly set out for dining; a large curved sofa is provided for non-diners. The old public bar is now a separate games room; the spacious main drinking area has a restaurant and conservatory attached, both of which welcome children; the garden also has a play area. The pub does support local teams however, including darts, euchre, pool, and football. Entertainment is provided by live groups on occasion. Food is available 1200-1430, 1700-20130 Mon-Fri, all day Sat and Sun until 2030 or 2000 respectively. Booking is strongly advised for Sunday lunch.
