Plume of FeathersThe Square
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
This is a lively old smugglers' and fishermen's pub, with two beamed bars and a snug with a part-circle bar, and a dining room upstairs. The main bar is L-shaped in a room with ample seating. The upstairs restaurant tables are decorated with sections of navigational charts, the walls display coloured panels and paintings. Situated on the Roseland peninsula next to the coastal path, it is a sociable centre of village life, having a quiz team and even an investment club. The food is varied, locally sourced and home cooked. A fourth beer appears from time to time, usually a seasonal brew from St Austell Brewery. Car parking is in the public facility nearby. Accommodation is in 5 ensuite rooms
