See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
This village pub off the beaten track is built in traditional Cornish granite style, and popular with the locals. It has a large, open-plan L-shaped bar room, with slate-flooring, modernised beamed ceiling supported by a pair of wooden posts, and sparse but tasteful décor including local old photos and prints, and a couple of potted plants. The stone fireplace harbours a wood-burning stove, and a small but separate restaurant area is adjacent. A large beer garden is a summer suntrap, and the car park is spacious.
