A surprisingly spacious pub with attractive original walls; families are welcome here, especially in the enclosed beer garden which has equipment for the kids, and incorporating a recently-discovered well. Portable ramps permit wheelchair access to the garden. The comfortable interior has an interesting layout with one large fireplace. 'Live' sport is shown on several TVs; the pool table has its own platform. Food (from Bookoo's restaurant opposite) is available Monday to Sunday all day.
