CAMRA Kernow’s December social welcomed both members and non-members to join together in recognition of the Two Clomes entry to the Good Beer Guide, on Saturday.

A fine selection of ales from Sharp’s Brewery, Rock and Harbour Brewery, Bodmin were be on the bar. We were joined by Andrew Madden, Head Brewer and Alex Jacques, West Cornwall representative of Sharp’s Brewery, Rob & Sparky the cider creators form St Mawgan’s Bearded Brewery…All of whom will be presented awards for their success at Falmouth Beer Festival judging of Champion Beers and Ciders of Cornwall. The event was be followed by a Walkabout around Newquay.

Bearded Brewery Cider Makers were presented with Supreme Champion Cider of Cornwall 2018 Third place for Suicider and Cornish Fruit Cider 2018 Gold with Moustache Mango & the Bronze with Unshaven Maiden.

The Sharps Team were presented with Champion Cornish Stout 2018 Silver - for the seasonal Cross Haven Oatmeal Stout and the Champion Cornish Best Bitter 2018 Silver for Atlantic.

Phil and the team at the Two Clomes provide fantastic quality ale, alongside some complementary mice pies and a very warm welcome. Everyone who attended raised a glass to the Two Clomes entry to the Good Beer Guide.
