Driftwood £5000 Charity

The Driftwood Spars and Driftwood Spars Brewery raised £5000 for Clic Sargent in 2017. With the support of the local community they held events such as Call my Bluff wine tasting, Pub Quiz with Peter Mitchell (our County Councillor) and 10p from every pint of the beer ‘Spars’ produced by Driftwood Spars Brewery all helped reach the total. This year the 2 businesses has started to raise funds for the St Agnes Sports clubs.

Driftwood Spars Brewery is also celebrating success at the national ‘Freeform’ Awards for winning Silver in the beer category of the awards for the gluten free beer ‘Unexpected’. The beer is brewed from Sorghum, a replacement for the malt used in regular beer. It is a light fruity beer and available in bottles from the brewery shop and local off-licences across Cornwall.
