Branch Meeting at Socio Newquay

Cornwall Branch of CAMRA enjoyed a visit to Newquay on a grey but dry Saturday 18 November. Branch Secretary Craig Allen hosted us at his pub, Bar Socio, where we had committee and branch business meetings. Stuart from Atlantic Brewery came along and Chairman Bob presented him with certificates for winning two awards in the Champion Beer of the Festival Competition at Falmouth Beer Festival;

Gold in the Speciality Beer class for Lost Gardens of Heligan Honey and Bronze in the same class for Mandarina Cornovia. Well done Stuart!

After enjoying three of Craig's beers, we moved on to the Red Lion for a pint or two before heading for buses.
